For a delicious and healthy snack after early morning training sessions, pre-make these bacon and egg wraps, pre-cook the ingredients and wrap in foil and stick in the freezer! The night before training, take one out ready for your rower to stick in a flat toaster at School after training or eat cold! Make a batch every Sunday for a quick go-to snack!
Ingredients: wrap, pre-cooked bacon, egg, spinach, grated cheese!
Method: Layout a wrap on top of foil; cook the bacon in fry pan until ready, set aside and allow to cool; fry or scramble egg until fully cooked, set aside and allow to cool. Place bacon, egg, spinach and grated mozzarella onto wrap and roll up. Wrap in foil securely. Stick it in the freezer.
The night before training, take one out of the freezer ready to cook in a flat-iron toast at School and have after morning training on the way to class!
If consumed cold, cook the wrap in your flat-iron toaster at home, before freezing.

Rowers can prepare porridge the night before training by soaking in a saucepan of water overnight.
10 minutes prior to leaving home, cook porridge and pour cooked porridge into a plastic lidded container. Top with chopped banana and/or berries (fresh or frozen) of your choice, a drizzle of honey and 1/2 cup of milk. Secure lid. Place in a plastic bag - include a spoon.
Eat a banana on the way to training.
After training, the porridge will still be warm enough to eat straight from the plastic container. Don't lose the spoon!
As soon as you arrive home, do your parents a favour and put the plastic container and spoon straight into the dishwasher!
