A BRO is a Boat Racing Official. These are qualified officials at regattas who provide assistance in the running of the regatta. Each of the 11 APS schools is required to provide 2-4 BROs at each Regatta for about 2-4 hours each. Parents become qualified by completing a 30-minute online course, facilitated by Rowing Victoria. Our BROs are managed by rowing parents Jane Isaac and Mark Maskiell. Jane and Mark coordinate the roster of BROs at regattas. If you want more information, please email Jane and Mark at pennefather.club@gmail.com.
