Colours will be awarded to a student who has rowed in a Boys or Girls 1st VIII at the “APS Heads of the River”.
Emblems will be awarded for students who at the “APS Heads of the River” have competed in either the Boys or Girls 2ndVIII.
The Pennefather Club awards are announced at the Presentation Dinner
This trophy is awarded to the best performed Intermediate or Senior Crew, boys or girls, across the APS racing season. Performance at Heads of the River is critical, but results throughout the season will be taken into account.
This trophy is awarded to the crew that as a whole has demonstrated the greatest improvement from the beginning of the season to the conclusion.
This award recognises an individual within the junior program who best displays the qualities, behaviours, values and attitudes of the Caulfield Grammar Boat Club.
This award recognises an individual within the program who displays outstanding leadership qualities within the Boat Club and has provided exemplary service throughout their time at CGS. This individual exemplifies what it means to be a Caulfield Grammar School Rower.
This trophy is awarded to the fastest boy and girl 2000m ergo recorded during the season. The 2 fastest all-time scores at CGS, in each age group, are displayed below.
This award is presented by the President, in recognition of a member of the Pennefather Club Committee who has provided exceptional and outstanding service to The Pennefather Club. This award was presented for the first time in 2019.

Ian Macmillan was one of the first rowing coaches at Caulfield Grammar School and coached boys throughout the late 1950s, 1960s and 1970s.
This trophy, first presented at the Presentation Dinner in 2019 was presented to past Caulfield rower and coach Mitch Nelson (2010). This award is presented by the Head of Rowing, to a coach in the program who has gone above and beyond the call of duty in providing dedicated support and outstanding leadership and instruction to their crew throughout the season. This award exemplifies what it means to be a Rowing Coach at Caulfield Grammar School.

Caulfield Grammar School is proud to have a number of alumni who have gone on to represent Victoria or even Australia in Rowing.
